Prizewinning journalist Jane M. Von Bergen started her reporting career in elementary school and has been at it ever since. For many years, her byline has been a constant in the Philadelphia Inquirer, where she covered courts, retailing, advertising, labor, the economy, and most recently, theater. She is a co-founder of the predecessor organization to Resolve Philly, a national groundbreaking journalism collaborative. Von Bergen lives in Mt. Airy with her husband, I. George Bilyk, a photographer she met in college while both worked on the Temple News student newspaper.
