UMass-Amherst, which granted him an honorary doctorate, removed Cosby from a fundraising position this week. Meanwhile here in Philadelphia, his hometown, letting go of Cosby is not nearly as easy.

Monday night, after a St. Louis County grand jury chose not to indict police officer Darren Wilson in the killing of Michael Brown, hundreds protested in Philadelphia. They went from City Hall to South Street to I-95, protesting peacefully and with passion. Philly was featured nationally for its peaceful protests.
