When Donald Trump campaign workers walk into the office this morning on South Street in Philadelphia, they will be greeted by a list of demands, a pile of signs and a couple drawings of vaginas.
A couple dozen protesters showed up outside the Trump campaign office near 8th and South streets this morning as part of a demonstration dubbed “Pussy Grabs Back” Philly. The effort was part of a national movement taking place in 12 cities across the country and organized by “GOP Hands Off Me,” a new organization that formed in response to allegations of sexual assault against Trump and the release of the 2005 Access Hollywood tape you can’t seem to escape.
Emma Boorboor, of West Philly, helped organized the protest this morning and said though no one working in the Trump campaign office actually showed up during the demonstration, organizers were leaving behind posters and a signed letter so Trump supporters know “women are standing up for themselves.”
“I think [Trump] already proved himself to be a huge misogynist,” she said. “This was basically him admitting that he sexually assaults women. And that’s just unacceptable.”
