Philadelphians began protesting as early as 24 hours before President Donald Trump arrived in the city Thursday to meet with GOP leaders.

Carrying signs in support of the Affordable Care Act, LGBTQ equality, women’s right, racial equality and environmental causes, protesters gathered Thursday morning at Thomas Paine plaza before marching toward the GOP retreat at the Loews Hotel at noon. More rallies are planned for later in the day.
