As if you needed another excuse to eat ice cream: There’s now a state-sanctioned trail for the sweet treat in central and eastern Pennsylvania.

Gov. Tom Wolf’s administration formally launched the campaign Thursday to support the state’s dairy farms, some of which are struggling amidst falling milk prices and cancelled contracts.

Because we support your right to support the state’s dairy farms by cramming as much ice cream as you’d like in your mouth, Billy Penn listed and mapped the 12 trail locations in Berks, Chester, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lehigh, Montgomery, and York counties.

Sure, there’s plenty of great ice cream in Philadelphia, but consider this motivation for a summer road trip. Happy eating.
