Millennial prank: Ask your parents how long to microwave a turkey
Then send us your screenshots so we can all revel in their response.

A Billy Penn reporter's mom took the question in stride

The holiday season’s latest meme consists of screenshots of text conversations where people pose to their parents a seemingly innocent query — that leads to hilarious results. The question to ask? How long to microwave a 25-lb. turkey.
Presumably, all the texters know you wouldn’t actually cook a giant bird in the microwave. All signs indicate that millennials are still on board with ovens.
In the Philly area, parents have been providing a perfect blend of horrified and practical responses.
In advance of the holiday, we want to see more of this. Reach out to your loved ones via text, and share the screenshots with Billy Penn.
Tag us on Twitter or Instagram, or send us screenshots via email. If we get enough good ones, we’ll pull them together in an upcoming story.
