Brown holds narrow lead over Green for 10th District House

A few votes remain to be counted in a hotly contested Pa. House primary race in West Philly, but it appears likely that state Rep. Amen Brown will hold onto his 10th District seat by a very narrow margin.

One of Japan’s biggest virtual stars arrives at Temple cafe

Hatsune Miku, the virtual Japanese pop star that performed at Coachella earlier this month, has arrived at Richie’s Café on Temple University’s campus. 

While commercial collaborations with virtual performers are common in Japan, it’s never been done with a café in America. BP’s Ali Mohsen got an inside look at the Miku phenomenon and the special menu items and other features of this first-of-its kind collab. Continue reading…

Over the weekend, Mayor Parker hosted the first One Philly Budget Town Hall with city officials and service providers offering residents details on her Fiscal Year 2025 operating budget and five year-plan.
