Philly schools, city offices close for winter storm
All Philadelphia public schools and city offices are closed today as the area braces for several inches of snow and gusty winds for most of the day. Amtrak and PHL also announced cancellations, while NJ Transit plans to operate its full regular weekday schedule for as long as conditions allow.
Two to 4 inches of snow are possible as part of a storm system spreading from the Central Plains to the Mid-Atlantic, according to the National Weather Service. Continue reading…

This Wednesday, two of Philly’s most prominent representations on TV will merge in the first crossover episode of “Abbott Elementary” and “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” as the narcissistic chaos of a group of South Philly pub workers collides into the making-something-out-nothing optimism of an underfunded West Philly public school.
