Former Pa. Attorney General Kathleen Kane was sentenced to at least 10 months in county jail following her August 2016 perjury conviction. An investigation looked into alleged leaks made by Kane’s office to media outlets that prosecutors say violated grand jury rules. Kane announced Feb. 16, 2016 that she won’t seek re-election and the day after her conviction announced her resignation from office.
