Everyone loves free food and seeing their favorite teams succeed. Put together? Even better.

There are a handful of promotions tied to Philadelphia sports teams and how they play, with most activated by a specific gametime event.

Note that with some of these deals, you can’t just walk in with $0 and walk out with something — minimum purchase of some sort is required.

Here’s where to find them and how to get the goods.

Know of a promotion we didn’t include? Tell us at tips@billypenn.com. We’ll keep this updated if any new freebies pop up.

Frosty Freeze Out: Eagles edition

Once a Sixers-related promotion that some people got passionate about (not always in a good way), the Wendy’s Frosty Freeze Out is now an Eagles thing.

If the team manages to keep their opponent from making it to the end zone in the first quarter, you can get a free small Frosty at participating Wendy’s locations in Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey.

To get the coupon, download the Eagles app and navigate to the featured events and promotions section. No purchase is necessary.

Bricken for Chicken

First introduced last year, the Sixers’ partnership with Chick-fil-A is activated after home games where a player from the opposing team misses two free-throw attempts in a row during the second half of the game. And it only gets better if there are more double misses.

If it happens once? Fans can get a free 5-count box of Chick-fil-A Nuggets. Twice? 8-count. Three or more times? 12 free nuggets!

No purchase is necessary, but you do need to download the Chick-fil-A app and “claim” the offer between the end of the game and 10:30 a.m. the next business day. Then, you have to use it within three days of the game. The offer can be scanned when you place your order at a Philly-area Chick-fil-A, or you can apply it to a mobile order from a participating store.

Big Mac for a Sack

When the Birds sack the other team’s quarterback, you can snack on a Big Mac — it just takes a purchase worth two greenbacks, plus the McDonald’s app.

A less poetic/corny explanation: You can get a complimentary Mickey D’s signature burger with any $2 purchase (before tax) at a Philly-area location in the days after the Eagles manage to take down the opposing quarterback. Find the coupon in the “Rewards & Deals” section of the app.

Free Monday coffee at Dunkin, no win required!

Once upon a time, Dunkin used to give out free coffee at their Philly area locations to loyalty card members the day after Eagles wins, part of a promotion called “Eagles win, you win!”

Well… the promotion is different now, and Philly Dunkin-lovers win regardless of how the Birds do. During the team’s regular season, fans can get a free medium coffee with any purchase every Monday at Philly-area stores — whether celebrating a win, mourning a loss, or fueling up for a game that night.

You’ll need to be part of Dunkin’s rewards program to get the freebie, and you can order the coffee hot or iced.

5% off at Acme when you wear your Eagles gameday gear

This isn’t really a freebie or a “little treat” per se, but it is a sweet little discount. If you do your grocery shopping at Acme on a day when the Eagles are playing, you can wear your Birds gear for 5% off your $20+ grocery order. The promo is available for both home and away games.

Past promotions from 2023
