This Temple senior is on a mission to visit every SEPTA station

There are 284 SEPTA stations and Rose Cohen is visiting—and ranking—all of them. The geography and urban studies student says “there’s just so many interesting places to discover and you can only really discover these places by just going out and exploring.”

St. Paddy’s Day at McGillin’s Olde Ale House: a Philly tradition

The Port-o-Potties have arrived and the green beer is flowing at the city’s oldest tavern, where St. Patrick’s Day is “more of a Super Bowl than ever,” according to third-generation co-owner Chris Mullins Jr.

Founded in 1860 by William McGillin at 1310 Drury St. in Center City, the historic establishment is full of memories on its walls and in its atmosphere. This year, the tavern will feature a twist on the traditional Irish Coffee, called a Nutty Irishman Coffee.
