Meet Dr. Matt, the new head of Temple’s art exhibitions program 

There is a new person at the helm at Temple University’s Tyler School of Art and Architecture, and he promises to bring a new perspective. Last month, Matthew Jordan-Miller Kenyatta, who encourages people to call him Dr. Matt, joined Temple Contemporary as Director of Exhibitions and Public Programming. 

Kenyatta grew up in California, and has been in Philly since 2018, when he arrives for a postdoc program at Penn. He brings a unique, playful perspective to his new role. Continue reading …

The Linc will host games in next year’s World Cup club tournament

Lincoln Financial Field will host eight games of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, including a Fourth of July match of the tune-up tournament for the 2026 World Cup, soccer’s governing body revealed on Saturday.

The 2025 event is a competition for the world’s top club teams, showcasing the best talent from domestic leagues globally. The 2026 tournament involves national teams. Continue reading …
