Help us finish the bracket to name the Ultimate Philadelphia neighborhood

Updated July 6 8:45 a.m.
In March, you chose Mike Schmidt as Philadelphia’s ultimate athlete. Now, we’re taking on one of the other most-debated topics in Philadelphia, one about pride, friends and family: the neighborhoods. Billy Penn and Fox 29 will let readers and viewers decide the ultimate Philadelphia neighborhood through an online bracket over the next few weeks.
Before we open the bracket for voting next week, we need your help filling it out. Four open spots remain in each of the regions, two for neighborhoods in Philadelphia, one for suburban Pennsylvania and Delaware towns and one for towns in South Jersey.
Don’t see your neighborhood on here? Philly’s got a lot of them, and when you mix in our friends in the ‘burbs, you’re looking at the longest bracket in the history of brackets. Philly pride shines well beyond Center City, so while this bracket doesn’t include anywhere close to everything, it does hit lots of different places. Still wish your neighborhood was on here? We’ve got wildcards.
Use the form below to nominate a neighborhood. And tell us why that neighborhood should be included in the final bracket. Fox 29 will draw the winning neighborhoods on Monday, July 6.
Update: Fox29 drew winners Monday morning from your nominations. And the neighborhoods that will be added to the bracket are:
- Roxborough (Philly)
- University City (Philly)
- Narberth (PA/ DE suburbs)
- West Deptford (NJ)
