We published a story Tuesday about restaurateurs hearing from the Secret Service, which is handling security measures for the pope’s visit. The impact will likely not be limited just to Logan Square and the Parkway area, but throughout Center City.

In fact, a tipster sent us a letter a Washington Square-area business received from the Secret Service in June. The letter said security measures “will include, but not be limited to, traffic and pedestrian restrictions, vehicle and general public screening checkpoints and the establishment of secured areas.” The tipster said the business has not received any further information from the Secret Service.
