Philly spent $120K for two model streeteries. Now it wants your review
The project came in response to restaurant owners who told the city that building an attractive streetery while meeting city, state and federal regulations can be difficult and expensive.
Crash-worthy barriers, accessibility requirements and other safety rules can sometimes force businesses to revise designs multiple times before receiving approval.

Philly tenants are fighting to limit AI in property management
Advocates want to bar property managers from using AI for maintenance requests, which they say can misrepresent those requests and leave tenants without an accurate paper trail.
They’re also fighting to stop property managers from using artificial intelligence to tabulate rental arrears, which anecdotally has left tenants being accused of delinquency or assessed late fees. Continue reading…
