She was formerly a data reporter for Grown In, a cannabis news site focused on the Midwest, New England, and Mid-Atlantic areas, and a politics reporter for Spotlight PA, a nonpartisan newsroom based in Harrisburg.

A Cuban immigrant and refugee raised in Hialeah, Florida, she now lives in Philadelphia.
