MAYOR WATCH

Mayor Parker attends a ceremony marking the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks and honoring the sacrifices of Philadelphia’s Fire and Police Departments and first responders. At Fireman’s Hall Museum, followed by a procession to the Betsy Ross House. (9:30 a.m.)

This is followed by a ceremony honoring A City of Service and city employees who responded to Ground Zero in New York City. (11:30 a.m.)

In the evening, Parker attends a commemoration event with first responders and community members honoring those who served in the military during and after September 11. At 6401 Ogontz Avenue. (7 p.m.)
